Living with Your New England Environment

Animals benefit from natural, native habitats. We can help create a landscape or woodland that you will enjoy and that will also provide for the needs of Northern New England wildlife. Wildlife benefits from diversity in native food sources (plants), shelter and structural diversity provided by trees, shrubs, stone, and birdhouses, along with consistent water sources.

Incorporating a trail system into your property — whether you own five acres or fifty acres — can increase your enjoyment of your property and wildlife and natural beauty of the Mt. Washington Valley. To create a trail or trail system, we first consult with you to determine your specific interests and needs: Will the trail be used for short walks? Will there be resting points to take in a vista? Is it an equestrian trail with the need for water? Before any work is underway, we confirm established boundaries, develop an environmentally sound plan, and walk and mark the proposed trail.

With proper land management, Northern Roots can help you create ideal environments for the native wildlife living on and moving through your property.
